First up I have to say that my husband is the BIG beer drinker in our family (not that it is a problem in any way ) ever since he first got a beer advents calendar a few years back from me. However I have through his interest for finding Norwegian gems on more then one occasion tasted different KINN brewery beers, and I must say they are so worth the money.

The main ingredient in beer is malt – that is, sprouted and dried grains, primarily barley. A malt house sprouts and dries the grains, to develop the enzymes that will be important in the brewing process. We then crush the malt, and mix it with hot water, resulting in a kind of porridge, called mash.
