WHAT I WOULD LOVE THIS CHRISTMAS:
I am back with another Gift guide for Christmas, and seeing the numbers on these posts it seems like more then one eyeball is reading..That in itself is a nice thing..it means that my tips are of some real help to more then me. Because lets face it coming up with new ideas for the people in your life every year can be both daunting, and a real pain in the ass to say the least..
Today however I thought it was the right time to share some of the things I have used for a while, and therefor can recommend to you without a hassle. Things that you will actually love if you are able to get hold of them before the 24th.
I will share three tips as I have done in all previous posts:
Belgian Farmhouse Ale:
“Our Saison Extra is a stronger version of the seasonal classic Belgian Farmhouse Ale. The complex aroma is reminiscent of fruitiness and spices, with a slight sweetness due to malt sugars. The temperature is allowed to rise to 28 °C, by which time fermentation has fully attenuated, producing a fascinating character. To highlight the earthy spiciness, we chose English Fuggles as our bitter hops. Saison Extra is really good for crab and stockfish (salted and dried cod), but also for many pork and chicken dishes. Even soft, mature cheeses will excel. A highly versatile table ale for a wide variety of occasions.”
Pilsner malt, wheat malt, Bayer malt, sour malt, dehusked chocolate malt and sugar Hops: Fuggles and East Kent Goldings Yeast: Wyeast 3787 Trappist High Gravity.
This beer is truly one I like myself, and not just one that my husband drinks..The taste is not what you may expect from a “regular” beer that you buy at the supermarket it is both a bit more expensive, and the alcohol level is higher. I am a girl, and very visual when it comes to picking out things I like, and so the artwork on each bottle is also something I quite like.
Truly the best “invention” ever..
I can not count all the times me, and L have come home from either a ski trip that did not go according to plan (I fell last winter, and hurt my knee pretty bad) or just a long day, and you feel like everything hurts.Tiger Balm is always there to warm up the the area that hurts..you almost always feel a lot better in a shorter amount of time then you would had you not put it on..The trick is to put on a thin layer onto the part that hurts, and let it become hot (thats when you know it is doing its magic), and then as you sleep put on a t – shirt – the smell is intense, and you do not want to get onto your sheets.
They will probably hate you for it on the day of Christmas, but love you for it when those pounds are packed on from all the Christmas food. It can be an insult or a way of showing love. You pick..I for one love the idea of someone paying for a gym membership come January..It would surely get my motivation going..
These are some of the things I would love to get come Christmas, and I hope you to found some inspiration when you start thinking…
Happy shopping 🙂THANKS FOR READING
